The Hamilton Rotary Club provides grants to local associations that support the betterment of our community with an emphasis on youth organizations. These grants require an application that meets the requirements established by our organization, with an application process for each grant cycle.
Grant Applications will be reviewed two times per year. Spring applications must be received by May 1st with a decision announced in June; fall applications must be received by November 15th with a decision announced in December.
Recipients of the Hamilton Rotary Community Grant should be charitable (501(c)(3)) or at least non-profit organizations. In general, this excludes individuals even those who find themselves in a financially needy situation or who individually seek to do a good work. To those individuals, we request that they partner with an established charitable organization.
The maximum grant amount is $5,000.00. However, no request is too small. Each application will require a description of the organization and its project, along with a statement of goals and objectives of the project, the total amount needed and the amount requested from the Hamilton Rotary Club. Grants should be requested for projects with measurable outcomes and will not generally be provided for capital campaigns, sponsorships or annual events. Please include a list of the itemized costs for the project. Sometimes the board awards a portion of the amount requested if they are unable to fund the entire grant.
Grant applications are available by clicking here. All grant applications must be submitted to:
Mike Kihm
921 Golfview Drive
Hamilton, Ohio 45013
by specified deadlines noted above.
The Hamilton Rotary Community Grant is limited to projects within the Hamilton Rotary Club’s service area.
The Hamilton Rotary Club’s Philanthropic Committee reviews all applications. Funds are awarded in June and in December of each year. You will be contacted by letter after a decision has been reached by the committee.
