Rotary Bulletin For May 7, 2009
Meeting called to order by club president Mary Reimer. Today was our first meeting at The Courtyard.
Devotion and pledge was led by Kim Munafro.
Our only guest of the club was Joe Schutte. Joe has been approved for membership. Welcome to the club Joe!
Rick Bethart thanked everyone involved with the GSE program.
John Guidugli, Chair-person of The Philanthropic Committee reported that Rotary grant money is available for local organizations. Grants can be as much as $5000. Currently fifteen applications have been submitted.
No “Getting To Know You” this week.
No student speakers.
Rick Jones Program Chair for May introduced today’s speaker, Mike Dingledine of SHP Leading Design. Topic of the day: “Architect 101”. Mike gave us a history and photo tour of The Fitton Center.
No winner for “Split the Pot.” No “split the Pot” next week.
Meeting was dismissed at 1:05pm. Members were encouraged to attend the dedication ceremony for Hamilton’s newest sculpture.
